At Cloverdale Primary School, we have a strong commitment to upholding the values of 'Aim High and SOAR'. Our SOAR expectations are embedded across the whole-school and wider school community. The acronym SOAR represents Safety, Organisation, Achievement, Respect and Responsibility. This Positive Behaviour Support (WAPBS) focus drives all aspects of teaching and learning at Cloverdale Primary School.
Our WAPBS Team comprises of teaching, administration and assistant staff. The Team meet fortnightly and communicate regularly to staff and students, strengthening and promoting SOAR. A mini-assembly is held every Monday morning to motivate students to practice adhering to our SOAR values and teaching staff explicitly teach the values to all students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Within the classrooms, students have an opportunity to Aim High and SOAR with all that they do, and reward systems by way of tokens, certificates and points are awarded daily.
